State of Victoria's ROI Selections for Skilled Migration Aug 2021

The first 170  invitations to apply for subclass 190 visa nomination for the 2021-22 program were sent to successful candidates last week.

These invitations were sent to the best candidates working in six different sectors. Whilst the Health sector did feature strongly, 62 per cent of invitations were sent to candidates working in other sectors.

Advanced Manufacturing: 95 [Mechanical Engineer, Engineering Technologist, Electrical Engineer]

Agri-Food: 90 [Food Technologist, Mechanical Engineer, Engineering Technologist]

Health: 90 [Medical Practitioners NEC, Resident Medical Officer / Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist]

Life Sciences: 95 [Secondary School Teacher, Food Technologist, Chemical Engineer]

Medical Research: 90 [Software Engineer, Biomedical Engineer / Industrial Engineer / Life Scientist NEC]

New Energy, Emissions Reduction and Circular Economy: 95 [Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Developer Programmer / Engineering Technologist]

* Please note that candidates considered to be Outstanding Talent may have less than the lowest points stated

If you were not selected to apply for Victorian visa nomination, you do not need to submit another Registration of Interest (ROI). Victoria will continue selecting the best ROI's submitted for each sector from July 2021 onwards over the remaining program year.

Subclass 491 ROI's are currently being assessed with the first group of invitations expected in the coming weeks.

You cannot update a ROI once it has been submitted. If your circumstances have changed or you provided incorrect information in your ROI, you must withdraw your existing ROI using the Live in Melbourne portal and submit a new ROI.

You can only have 1 active ROI submitted at any time. You cannot submit a separate ROI for each subclass. If you wish to change the subclass, or anything else on your ROI, you must withdraw the existing ROI and submit a new ROI.

ROI Submission Windows for 2021 - 2022

There are no submission windows for the 2021-22 program. You may submit a ROI at any time between 7 July 2021 and 29 April 2022.
