
The Certificate 4 in Plumbing and Services course contains both core and elective units of competency required for performing formal and technical skills needed in the plumbing field.
Certificate 4 in Plumbing and Services is a trade qualification for plumbers accountable for making, installing and keeping gas, roofing, water services, sanitary plumbing and sanitary drainage, and mechanical assistance in existing and new buildings.
This qualification will teach you master skills in installing pipework and checking and sustaining pipes, fixtures and gas regulators. You will also understand how to install gas appliances, water heaters, water tanks, pumps, and water heating systems.
To be eligible, students must be at least 16 years of age.
For the operations stream, a candidate must be in possession of a Certificate III in Plumbing or be established to undertake plumbing work authorised by an Australian regulator body.
Prior to enrolment or commencement of training, you will be needed to finish an English and math evaluation and a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability for the course, verify your training plan, and recognise any learning support requirements.
