Nurse Practitioners Australia Skills Assessment Authority

Australian Nursing & Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) is the independent assessing authority authorised by law to conduct the skills assessments by the Department of Home Affairs and Department of Education and Training, for Internationally qualified nurses, internationally qualified midwives and International students studying nursing and midwifery in Australia or New Zealand, who have completed their course and are registered in Australia or New Zealand.

ANMAC’s Skilled Migration Services assess the skills of nurses and midwives who want to migrate to Australia under the General Skilled Migration program. ANMAC determines if an applicant has the nursing or midwifery qualifications and experience needed for migration to Australia.
