At UON, we understand that many students already know a lot and have learned formally before. That is why we let you earn something called 'credit' for what you already know. Earning credit can make your time in school shorter, which means you pay less for your education, and you can get your degree faster. Do not forget to tell us about all the things you have learned before. Even if they are not exactly like UON's courses, you might still get credit, especially if your degree has elective courses.
When you complete this degree UON nursing, you will have the right qualifications to work as a Nurse in many different jobs. These include roles like clinical nurse specialist, clinical nurse consultant, nurse educator, nurse manager, nurse practitioner, and nurse researcher.
This course is like a beginning to learn about how our bodies work and why sometimes they do not work well. It teaches you how distinct parts of the body function together and tries to show you how this is important for nursing and midwifery. This way, you will understand why this knowledge matters for your future studies and job in nursing and midwifery.
In this course, you will learn about how our bodies keep things in balance, which is called homeostasis. You will also see how the distinct parts of our bodies work together, like how our organs and systems connect.
