Diploma of Nursing the Gordon TAFE

You will participate in various healthcare settings in the Gordon TAFE nursing course. You will learn how to evaluate and care for people at different life phases with multiple healthcare requirements. The Gordon Diploma of Nursing is acknowledged nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

The Gordon nursing course covers anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, legal and ethical problems linked with nursing, infection control, patients with complicated conditions, dispensing medicines, communication skills, and nursing patients with mental health requirements.

Gordon Diploma of Nursing Entry Requirements

  • 18 years of age (Minimum)
  • Completion of Year 12 or equivalent
  • Up To date immunization/vaccination record
  • An IELTS with 7.0; and a minimum score of 7 in each component across the two sittings, and no score in any component of the test is below 6.5. Two sittings must be within six months period.
