The secondary applicant who is atleast 18 while lodging the visa 494 must pay a visa cost of: A$2320.

Subclass 494 Visa Cost Additional Applicant below 18 Years of Age

The secondary applicant who is atleast 18 while lodging the visa 494 must pay a visa cost of: A$1160.

Subclass 494 Second Installment Payable Before Visa Grant

The second instalment (payable before grant of visa 494 is A$9800 if:

• The applicant is at least 18 at the time of application; and
• Is assessed as not having functional English; and
• Who satisfies the primary criteria for the grant of a Subclass 494 (Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional) visa; and
• Is not nominated as a Minister of Religion by a religious institution, or dependent family member.

The second instalment (payable before grant of visa 494) is A$4890 if:

• The applicant is at least 18 at the time of application; and
• Is assessed as not having functional English; and
• Who satisfies the secondary criteria for the grant of a Subclass 494 (Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional) visa; and
• Is not nominated as a Minister of Religion by a religious institution, or dependent family member.

The second instalment (payable before grant of visa 494) is nil if:

• Is not nominated as a Minister of Religion by a religious institution, or dependent family member.

Subsequent Temporary Application Charge

Subsequent Temporary Application Charge is not payable when you lodge visa 494 application.

Subclass 494 Visa Cost for Employer Skilling Australian Fund Levy

Employers must pay the applicable nomination training contribution charge referred to as the Skilling Australians Fund (SAF) levy. The purpose of the SAF levy is for employers to contribute to the broader skills development of Australians.

• Small (annual turnover less than $10 million) - A$3000.
• Other business (annual turnover of $10 million or more) - A$5000
