Partner Visa Australia allows the parent of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia. The applicants can lodge one of the following visas depending on their age.

If you are outside Australia while applying for the parent visa, then you will lodge the following visas:

Parent (Class AX) Subclass 103 Visa

This Parent (Class AX) Subclass 103 Visa is permanent parent visa Australia that lets a parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen move to Australia. The applicant must not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (Subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa, or if the applicant held such a visa then has left Australia since that visa ceased to be in effect.

Contributory Parent (Temporary) (Class UT) Subclass 173 Visa

This Contributory Parent (Temporary) (Class UT) Subclass 173 Visa is Temporary parent visa that lets a parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen move to Australia. The applicant must not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (Subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa, or if the applicant held such a visa then has left Australia since that visa has ceased.

Contributory Parent (Permanent) (Class CA) Subclass 143 Visa

This Contributory Parent (Permanent) (Class CA) Subclass 143 Visa is Temporary parent visa Australia that lets a parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen move to Australia. The applicant must not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (Subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa, or if the applicant held such a visa then has left Australia.

Aged Parent (Class AX) Subclass 804 Visa

This Aged Parent (Class AX) Subclass 804 Visa is a permanent visa, that lets an aged parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen move to Australia. The applicant must not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (Subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa, or if the applicant held such a visa then has left Australia since that visa ceased to be in effect.

Contributory Parent (Permanent) (Class CA) Subclass 143 Visa

This Contributory Parent (Permanent) (Class CA) Subclass 143 Visa is Temporary parent visa Australia that lets a parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen move to Australia. The applicant must not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (Subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa, or if the applicant held such a visa then has left Australia.

This Contributory Aged Parent (Temporary) (Class UU) Subclass 884 Visa is temporary visa that lets a parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen move to Australia. The applicant must not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (Subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa, or if the applicant held such a visa then has left Australia.

Contributory Aged Parent (Permanent) (Class DG) Subclass 864 Visa

This Contributory Aged Parent (Permanent) (Class DG) Subclass 864 Visa is a permanent parent visa that lets a parent of a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen move to Australia. The applicant must not have already applied for or hold a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) (Subclass 870) visa when applying for this visa, or if the applicant held such a visa then has left Australia since that visa ceased to be in effect.

Sponsored Parent (Class GH) Subclass 870 Visa

This Sponsored Parent (Class GH) Subclass 870 Visa is a temporary visa that lets a parent of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen visit and stay in Australia for  up to 3 or 5 years.
