
The students will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through two 70-day placements, totaling 1,000 hours, during the third and fourth years of the program. Under the guidance of qualified social workers, they will engage in supervised practical work, applying their knowledge in real-world settings.
Upon finishing the program UON Social Work, students will have learned the basic ideas and concepts in one or more subjects. They will also understand how to conduct project work or research with some independence.
To participate in the placements, students must fulfill all the necessary Social Work UON Placement Requirements. These placements are conducted within numerous services or facilities in New South Wales, providing students with practical, firsthand experience.
