
The Nursing Diploma is designed to help you create understanding and talents in realistic education conditions. You will get hands-on knowledge in the ward simulation laboratories and clinical experience through hours of practical placements.
The Diploma in Nursing in Australia is an accredited program that trains the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to work as an Enrolled Nurse in Australia and worldwide. Upon finishing this diploma, you will be eligible to deliver nursing care services under a Registered Nurse's management in different healthcare environments.
This diploma is conducted over 18 to 24 months and includes hours of compulsory administered clinical placements in critical healthcare domains: sub-acute, aged care, mental health, and acute care. The primary study subjects within the diploma are nursing communication, legal and ethical parameters, anatomy and physiology, medication delivery, wound management, infection prevention, infection control, medications, and intravenous administration, caring for patients with acute and chronic conditions, nursing care for diabetes, implementing nursing care plans, and mental, critical, and aged care.
A$16,000 to A$24,000. The fee range can change from time to time.

Most Diploma of Nursing courses will start in Feb or March. However some TAFE’s offer mid-year nursing diplomas.
